So this post is just a theory but it is worth reading for sure. As we invent more and more technologies that help us to learn more about the world we live in than ever before, we have created more ways to buck the notion of God in our lives than ever also. If you stop and take a look at the bigger picture it can almost make you laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
First of all, society wants to go on with the discredation of anything Biblical or related to God. God being primarily of the Christian trinity - which is really the only religion the world tries to suppress- You might say no, no, no- since 9/11 Muslims are highly persecuted also... Yes and no, see we DO tend to get a tad uneasy when the subject comes up because of what the extremist have done BUT, we have created a bubble of protection of their rights for the rest that are so far nonthreatening (keywords being so far). We (we being society of course) have pushed for religious rights and freedoms for every pagan, Buddhist, Wicca and atheist to name a few but all the while that 'SAME 'protection' is what strips Christians of more rights with each passing day. How do all these new laws that protect every OTHER religion fail to apply in the exact same way to a Christian?? If someone claimed to be offended by a Muslim praying, the end result would likely be that person would be labeled a bigot or something but if someone is offended by a Christian praying, it is the Christian who is at fault... Ummm, how is that justice?
A great example is how Christmas is handled now. Christmas may have adopted traditions from a variety of cultures BUT at the end of the day it IS a Christian holiday. How then is it perfectly OK for atheist and other secular parties to disgrace and twist OUR holiday into whatever they see fit in order for THEM to celebrate it? What if we said we are left out of Ramadan and forced our inclusion then while we observe the holiday of another, we pervert it by eating pork during the fast? Not just eat it but demand that it be worldwide that it is acceptable, NO, encouraged to celebrate Ramadan by eating a roast pig every night?!?!? It would likely start a literal WW3! Yet it is completely OK to pervert Christmas by tearing apart our holy day in order to allow the secular world to trade gifts... I'm perfectly fine with anybody giving gifts and visiting family on 12/25 so long as they allow me and mine to have CHRISTMAS how we see fit!
With that rant aside, I have a much more important things to discuss here. As I was saying, the modern world tries to erase any ties to God they can. What is so ironic though is that they do this while searching high and low for ways to prove aliens or other beings not fro here are real and created mankind or that some god-like beings created us to be their slaves or some other idea which to me just feels like assbackwards tail chasing. They HAVE a creation story WITH a being which claims responsibility for creating us. But they don't want that story- they want to find a new one that basically is exactly what we already have. Does ANYONE else see the insanity here??
Next, let's chat about Satan. Again, people trying to reinvent the wheel, there is no Satan (since there is no God of course) but there ARE angels and demons.... Really people??? Let's look closer in spite of that. Popular belief about Satan's fall is that he did not feel God's creation (us) should be honored as God wanted. He felt humans weren't good enough as we were made of mud or dirt while the angelic hierarchy were made far superior. Well, if that was the case, how on Earth have we decided that Satan bringing us knowledge in the garden of Eden was a beneficial or helpful thing? Why would a being that was jealous of us help us? What makes more sense to me is that his bringing us knowledge was an act of revenge. Without that knowledge, we were blissful and had no worry of where we would spend eternity. Once Eve ate of the fruit and shared it with Adam, we became responsible for our actions since we knew right from wrong. If that had never happened, women would not have been cursed with agonizing child birth and humans might not have been capable of creating such things as we have but we also wouldn't have many other things. Without that knowledge, God would still walk with us here on Earth and we would not question our creation. It seems rather simple to see that the 'gift' of knowledge was more of a curse in reality.
Everything since then just further proves my point... There are so many stories from multitudes of cultures over time with similar features from floods to creation and more. Most of them are nearly identical and some that sound like it was the hand of Satan twisting the truth. Satan came to HELP, to free us to give us intelligence or to civilize us so some claim it is misunderstanding because he was the one to offer us all these great things.... NOT! WAKE UP! Without that 'help' there would be no war or pain, we would live much like animals do. We would have no need for clothing not knowing we were naked as Genesis indicated. Mythologies such as Kukulkan claim that he was a feathered serpent that taught them medicine, astrology and more. To me, that sounds like Satan. From what I understand, his name translates to back this up too. The race of angels Lucifer was from were called seraphim. A breakdown of the origin of the word itself translates to giant serpent. It only takes a shred of common sense to see that appears very clearly to be another story of Satan trying to divert the truth to lead humanity away from God.
With our current society's efforts to find our creator while ignoring everything so many instances that tell us exactly what's going on, it seems crazy that anyone finds it difficult to put all these pieces together. I understand before the days of the world wide web but with all the linked information it's hard to believe that anyone cannot see these connections. Of course there will always be things we strive to find answers for but personally I feel that most of the stories you find add up to back up God creating us and Satan working every angle possible to get people astray. The father of lies, he WANTS as many people to believe anything but the word of God and he uses every resource he can to divert souls from what God meant us for. Especially to those who feel Satan got a bad rap when he was simply trying to help mankind... That 'help' is only helping to get revenge against those he was so jealous of. If he were a human and shown jealousy towards you then offered you help- you would likely not trust him yet many believe that is exactly what happened.
People often mistake us gaining knowledge and 'civilizing' us is to our benefit. I enjoy thinking as much as the next person but we ALL long for lives free of pain and sickness, free of worry and such so it seems to me that life got screwed up when they ate of the tree of knowledge. Unfortunately, it was a trade off at best but not at all a gift as a gift does not cost you to receive. Think of life as it was described in the start of Genesis - Adam and Eve did not seem concerned with their appearance, if they had designer fig leaves, all they had to do was live each day exploring and enjoying the beautiful world they were in. Food was bountiful and they did not have to work in order to eat- all that changed after the fall. Women cursed in their way and men cursed to work the land for their food- hard work. They suddenly realized they were naked and felt the need to hide their bodies even though they never had. Facts like these make me also ponder another series of thoughts.
Prior to the fall, Adam and Eve WERE like animals... Maybe life DID evolve but who is to say that is not how God sprouted all life? We tend to think from a very narrow perspective in the first place. Eden existed in the first version of this world, one that included dinosaurs and other massive plants and animals. That Earth may have been much smaller than the world we live in today. Perhaps it was colliding with a large meteor or other object (the moon maybe... i wasn't there, just making guesses based on what we DO know) full of ice/water is what hit causing the rush of water to that extent but maybe also increasing the mass of the planet along the way... We just tend to expect that the world we know now has always been like this but with a few more species. Maybe, since time as we know it truly ONLY exists here on our world, the days it took to create Earth might not have been a 24 hour Earth day. Maybe each 'day' was 1000 or a million years.... I would guess 1000 over a million personally but that's another story. In every story I have ever seen, heard, come upon somewhere- God provides plenty of miracles, but they still usually are accomplished by coordinating events to look like chance but really just extremely detailed planning.
For instance- in 2006 I was hanging to life by the thinnest of threads... I had fallen ill with a nasty autoimmune neurological disorder called Myasthenia Gravis which was one of the most severe cases to be seen currently since USUALLY proper meds and therapies keep it under control. However me being me I just HAD to be the special case. Every medication and new treatment the doctors tried on me would start to work really great making us feel we found the solution and just as we would get too hopeful the new treatment would go wonky and cause me to be WORSE off than I had been before. I got to the point I wished I had just dealt with the original problems since all the treatments got me worse and worse with each one I got to the point I wasn't sure if I was going to live through each day! I would go into SEVERE MG Crisis several times daily and if I tried to go to the ER where I should have been they literally mocked me and told me to stop wasting their time since the Dr that SHOULD'VE diagnosed me failed to even BOTHER looking at my test results before telling me i had Munchhausen's, nothing else and to go see a good shrink! Regardless, it would have been pointless then anyway since we had tried literally every legally available thing and still I only got worse every passing day until finally one of the latest treatments had sent me to the ER, again... Upon arriving there, they found in my blood work I was deathly ill. Turned out the port they put in my chest to do a blood treatment to help had become infected. On top of that, my body suddenly rejected the heparin (blood thinner used to keep port lines clog free) so now besides staph and MRSA, I had a egg sized clot of infection ON my heart and pulmonary embolisms. That wasn't all- I had also gone septic. I spent 3 weeks in a coma and the first one was just me slipping in and out as I fought to remain here but then they were forced to move up the surgery time to right now as I had gone down to LESS than 5% chance IF I had the surgery to remove the infection from my heart (and also yank out my pesky thymus causing the MG while they had me there). Well, I don't know exactly what happened but the way the doctor explained it was that I was alive ONLY because while all that was happening, I had a hole in my heart- that hole that had been there since I was born almost 30 years earlier, SAVED me from stroking out whilst on the operating table! THAT is the kind of thing you USUALLY, not always- but usually, see in miracles. So that hole that usually would have been a big deal and limited my childhood and would have probably been corrected had anyone known about it HAD to be there for that moment in time to spare me. I believe the hole has always been there as they did, not that it just sprung up right then. So since God usually relies on the laws of nature HE created to unfold, I can see life morphing and springing forth and yes evolving.
I do not think evolution is what Darwin claimed though either. If you scroll back just a bit, back to Adam and Eve in the garden as I was comparing them before eating the fruit to animals. Perhaps they were just that until their minds were awoken by the tree of knowledge. Genesis clearly indicated the changes in their behaviors and attitudes after, which to me almost sounds like it might have been that... Please, please, please remember that I was not there, nor do I claim to know firsthand by any means- I just like to keep my mind truly open to possibilities until you can prove exactly what DID happen and hope to help others do the same. I also still believe that God created all of it and uses whatever He wants to make things happen whether it is aliens, angels or people to carryout His will. As well as that the evolution I speak of I think much life sprung forth on simple levels as algae and grasses grew and various bacteria and whatever else started forming other life. I do NOT believe that 1 weird legged fish turned into millions of varieties of beings. I believe many different kinds of things sprang forth and as the climate, terrain and everything else changed, so did the critters but a cat is a cat and a bird is a bird- Perhaps we were of some ape type mammal but we would still have been a separate species that was capable of what we have become if granted knowledge. I don't think if Satan had coerced a dog into eating of the tree that dogs would be us, because God had a plan when He started it all- regardless of how it was carried out, it was done by His authority and therefore it is irrelevant if He sent a fellow intelligent species, alien or angelic, or whatever else we haven't considered to carry it out. I mean it IS pretty clear that organic things are affected by their surroundings, meaning they adapt or evolve based on their diet, their location, their lives.
It just feels so wrong to believe that everything is just black and white- that gray and other colors do not need come into play but they really do. God and evolution are far from mutually exclusive, neither are the possibilities of aliens or other ideas. I do not want to change anyone's beliefs, just help to show others that it IS possible to have 2 very different ideas that maybe went together rather than one or the other. It really comes down to this- none of us know or will know the truth while we live in this life. Once we move on to the 'next level' hopefully we will get to know the answers but until then the only thing we should be concerned with is trying to live right and help others but most of all that regardless of how it all came about- God did it. That was the only point that matters here. We HAVE learned that most myths and legends have basis in reality, sometimes misunderstood or misrepresented but as a whole, if you look into the masses of legends, there are some things that are told time and time again in cultures completely unrelated which says to me you can probably believe it DID happen but it is very unlikely you will get the full story unless you took part because WE are only human.
This blog is for Christian minded people who would like to read stories and thoughts meant to inspire you. I do not claim to have the answers, ANY of them! Just someone who loves Jesus and wants to share things. I hope you enjoy this Blog. Thanks! Have a Blessed Day!
Newest 'Challenge' for Sharing
Ok, I have a great idea for the next big challenge circulating the lines: Be kind. That simple...
See, I remember when you went to school to learn basic education, not politics and how to spot the shooter before the massacre. I remember when family meant something, people took care of one and other and shared in each other's joys and pains. I remember when it was more common that kids had two parents and if they were one of the unfortunates who had divorced parents, they respected their kids enough to show respect still, no trashing the other parent just for funsies... How is it possible in a world so worried about sensitivity issues that everyone around you seems to be so thoughtless and insensitive???
We were all sullen teens at one point but we still have to live in the world we create so why are we settling for a nasty world we are sad or upset by constantly? We have to BE the change we want to see. So like I said, my challenge is easy and a surefire way to improve the quality of your life, be kind to those around you. Your family, neighbors, siblings, co-workers, students, teachers, everyone.
We ALL have crap days but it's nobody's fault, that's life. When we are nasty to others for things, even if you might think you are right and they are wrong, you might not know everything, more likely that you don't, so before you ruin someone else's day, take a breath and think how a smile and compassion may change what happens next... Most of all, remember every person you encounter is another life that matters to someone even if you can't fathom how. They still hurt when someone is cruel, they grow bitter from being wronged over and over by others all day too and we could all use a little more love and happiness so start spreading the love as far as you can! Just talking to someone a few minutes can make their day if they are lonely. Kindness doesn't equal weakness, if anything it takes more strength to be kind to someone who doesn't deserve it. And the ones that deserve kindness are easy to be kind to so it's a win for everyone to be strong by being kind.
Dare as many people as possible to this challenge please. If the pods, condoms and ice have circulated then why not something that makes sense at least!?!? Please help me spread this message instead of ideas to poison or self mutilation. Thanks for reading/sharing.
